What is a fanlisting? According to The Fanlistings Network, A fanlisting is simply an online listing of fans of a subject, such as a TV show, actor, or musician, that is created by an individual and open for fans from around the world to join. There are no costs, and the only requirements to join a fanlisting are your name and country. Fanlistings do not have to be large sites (although some are) - they are just a place where you can have your name listed along with other fans of the same subject. is the original (but not only) web directory for fanlistings, dedicated to uniting fans across the globe.

Son Gohan

Gohan is the first son of Goku and Chi-Chi, the older brother of Goten, the husband of Videl and father to Pan. Gohan is also the first hybrid (half Human, half Saiyan) to appear in the series. He is named after Goku's adoptive grandfather, Gohan. Gohan's name is a homophone for gohan, the Japanese word for "cooked rice," which also refers to meals in general. In Mandarin, the reading of gohan is homophone for (wufan), meaning lunch.

Why Gohan? Other questions.

Why the name Transcendent? I went on a word hunt the moment I got approved for this fanlisting. I wanted something that'd describe Gohan and would satisfy me. I had many things I could have used for the fanlisting title, but in the end I decided on Transcendent. It means going beyond ordinary limits, surpassing or exceeding. I felt that Gohan represents this word.

Gohan and I were around the same age when I came across him for the first time when I watched Dragon Ball Z. It was on Toonami and they were showing the Imperfect Cell Saga. I connected easily with Gohan because he was around my age. I couldn't get enough of Gohan and when I saw him transform during the Cell Games, I was shocked and amazed. I loved Gohan then (I still love him to this day!) It inspired me to watch the entire entity of Dragon Ball Z to see more of Gohan.

Gohan is special to me because he's one of the first anime characters I had a conncection with in my childhood. Like with Chibi Usa in Sailor Moon, Gohan was easily relatable and likeable to me. I admired his bravery, his intellect, and he became one of my role models growing up. He fought for what was right and for those he loved. I'm 24 years old now, but any time I watch Gohan in this anime, I feel like I'm 10 again.
